Susan Stuart I was wondering if it might be possible to have more grape varieties, enabling the growers to blend new wines?
And musting vats to make varieties like White Zinfandel etc, prior to fermentation in the barrel?
The zoom out option still doesn't go far enough to enable a smooth movement of buildings etc, having to pick up and drop several times before you get it to where you want is frustrating to say the least.
This game is brilliant and if a games company eg: EA Games doesn't snap it up I would be very surprised, having said that there is plenty more expansion and tweaking to do before this might happen.

I am unable to get to the edges of the vineyard.
It is a test of patience trying to move cottages about the property, have to do it in small bits and then it is very easy to catch another cottage then that one gets moved.
It is very difficult to place paths, dirt etc accurately waste such a lot of coins and also end up with it in the wrong place. Would it be possible to be able to move it after it has been placed.
Would also be great to have some communication from the devs : )
If you are able to sort the problems out, then we can all chill out with a glass of wine and enjoy the beauty of the vineyard we have created : )

Deborah Egan I'm not sure where to post this…but I had some ideas that would greatly reduce the "water" problem, unless you're trying to fill a built in pool that is. But for those dirt patches in the middle of our streams and ponds, the best solution I can think of, other than fixing that problem of course, would be to add river reeds/cattails. We can place those over the patches for a more realistic look. I think that would be beautiful! Or, perhaps even adding Lotus plants or water lilies.
Also, would love to see like moss covered stepping stones! Stepping stones would be much, much easier to work with than our current selections and would give us more versatility as well.

Time sensitivity on the vine (ability to harvest early or late) increasing risk, the longer you wait, with higher potential rewards, taking things all the way to Ice Wine.
The ability to blend barrels… As real wineries do.
DEFINITELY BOTTLING!!!! Again, some risk, higher reward. I want to make SPARKLING WINE!
More 'secret' blends that reflect the real world.
RUNNING water.
elevation as a design tool, not just the illusion of it.

Linda Gabriel Butterfly's are fixed! I have 3 new rabbles in my vineyard. I also would like it if the water at least which is a cash item could be moved or at least saved when it gets covered by dirt or stone paths. I would be putting down lots more water if i could put it where i wanted it and not get it covered if I try to place stone. So far the dev's of this game have been very nice and helpfull and concerned about their gamers. It was nice to see Tami at bob's tasting party explaining things. 72 plots is a must. no matter how i work things its always off with just 64, I would love to have some long term grapes and short term ones all planted at the same time and have 2 barrels always pending. actually more then 72 in what a vineyard is. grapes not buildings. but i love the landscaping too. diff buildings is a good idea also. Please don't get into the need to grab things off posts tho. to many games are doing this . the parties is a much better way to socialize then post grabbing.
Thanks for the mystery boxes. they are so much cheaper then the other games and this is much appreciated. its so much easier to get them at 5 cash by adding the app of the day although i dont mind buying some cash as most stuff is much cheaper then other games/ It goes a longer way in this game.
so far i am happiest with this game then almost any other. I would like to expand my land but i too can not get to the outer edges of some places i visit so i leave mine as is for now. zoom fix i really need. I know its a new or newer game so i will wait and make wine.

Janice Dell I love this game. I admit, I am addicted.
My wish list includes:
- not having to click share or dismiss after every action - maybe just upon exiting a garden?
- having pop up that will tell me if I've already clicked on a house today, or tasted a barrel, or if all of the plots have been fertilized, just by hovering over the area, rather than having to click on it, and then click dismiss again.
- Enough plots for 2 barrels.
- Since we have a max number of barrels, it would be nice if we had the option to "sell, Age, or buy bottles" and then we can sell off bottles at a time.
- log book for our barrels, telling us what kind of grape we harvested, how long it aged, the cost of the grapes, the cost of the barrel, and the selling price.
- since we have apple trees, how about the option to barrel cider?
- purchase cheese, and ability to "buy" a wine and cheese party, perhaps with a limit of one per week/player, so that all of them don't happen at once?
- being able to visit someone's garden by clicking on their avatar .
- bee hives, and the possibility to make honey and mead would be fantastic too.
I'm happy, but these things will make me happier. =D

Deborah Egan Note to Susan!
No way Jose! Don't want EA games to purchase this game! I'll quit if they do! They're greedy! They've ruined I don't know how many games! They purchased The Sims from Maxis and The Sims III is terrible! The graphics are a step down from The Sims II, it's very glitchy as well. Pogo was free before they took over, now the price is ridiculous, out of control. $40 a year plus extra money, or "gems" to purchase outfits, hair, backgrounds, badges, badge albums, pets, etc., in other words, they charge for EVERYTHING on top of their yearly fee! Btw, I just quit Pogo. Far too much money for what they offer, I'll go back to WWC before I give Pogo any more money. Scary thought, EA buying this game……….. So far, I think Metaplace is pretty darn fair with their WC prices. Much more so than most. I've pretty much quit the Zynga games, the greed is overwhelming, 27 PV bucks for a dress? Plus the outrageous cost of the accessories that go with the dress? Zynga seems to spend more time tossing out new games that haven't been tested at all instead of fixing the issues that abound in their prior releases! Sometimes it seems like we're just unpaid beta testers! I've beta tested for Pogo for years and have never, ever encountered the problems that Zynga games have! Personally, I feel they should use Java based games instead of Flash, but they'd have to pay for Java, right? Well, wandered off the subject there for a bit. But I don't want EA to purchase My Vineyard. I love this game and don't want to see it exploited! lol

Harry Punwani Over all the game is very enjoyable… but for a few adjustments :
1) better zooming option … most of the times you can't really pan out and see what is at the edges of the vineyard. Mobility becomes a huge problem.
2) Accuracy when making pathways… spending loads of coins just to get a few pathways at the place you want them to be. Also sometimes you click and the cross does not appear and you keep clicking and loose 1000 coins just on one spot…when suddenly they all appear together.
3) Would like at least 72 blocks for wine growing so we can have at least 02 barrels at one go when we harvest our grapes.
4) Water landscape should be free if not then at least we should be able to buy it with coins !
5) Most importantly when we are expanding and reclaiming land…. we pay 500 coins per hit… at least make the reclaimed land flat and not full of uneven ground, where we spend another fortune to flatten it out !

As long they stay so low. will get the cash points, they need the money to continue the game, they also try to help with the different daily offers, the moment they get greedy, I'm out of here.
LOVE the new flowers, more will be fantastic.
Would love to place some figurines as workers/ visitors/ owners.. that can be fun!
Different walls/ trees will be great as well
Different houses, which gives you different coin values/ xp also something to think about e.g. villa = 250 coins etc.

Susan Otterson Here's a tip when placing paving, dirt, or grass: move to where you want to place your square, and you see an x in the box. You can move your mouse a little bit and make the x move in the square. Play with this a little and get a feel for it. It's not perfect, but you can fudge a little bit in one direction if you have a stubborn patch that you just can't cover.

Jennifer Raspe My wishlist:
1. Give us more things to build, not just houses. Obviously we all helping each other build things. How about a wine cellar?
2. Please fix the zoom. I know you are tired of hearing this, some days it works great, other days it is bad bad bad.
3. Please make it so we can see what wines we have tasted and what wines we haven't. This makes it very hard when you go to some of these beautiful vineyards but you can't tell what wines you have tasted and which ones you have not. When you have 40 neighbors, this becomes a time problem for me. I want to help my neighbors but I only have so much time to spend here.
4. For those of us who are trying to find all the secret recipes, can we have a way to track what is in each barrel, other then the when we first barrel it?
5. Do not make terrain building items (such as water) WC items. There are not grid marks or anything to easily plot where you are going and this is very costly error. Now yes at 1 WC it is fairly cheap but for those of us who are on a budget, it can be very costly and not fair to lose your money and not get it back if you have to delete or build over since you put X right next to X but the 2nd X went 1/3 higher then the first X. This happens repeatedly.
I love the game :)

Robert Morgan Don't know where else to post this but I would like to use the Apple Chips that keep accumulating in my gift basket from apple tree harvesting. Since day one they could not be used on the barrels.
Now for my rant:
How about fixing the numerous glitches/issues with the game before releasing any other decor or alpha testing new games. Seems that you have way too much on your plate to provide quality problem free games for all your fan/players. Or is it a just make the money and the customer be damned. I have supported your endeavors and put real money in your pocket for development because I believe there is no free lunch, but I don't see any improvement in game play for the customer. I have had the same avatar since I started playing Island Life months ago and now have the same ugly avatar in all three of your games.
I love the games but customer support and caring about your customer base is truly lacking in your management structure.
The Mystery Box was the biggest mistake to date. Following in Zynga's footsteps was Pure Greed. If I had wanted three archery targets, three fountains, Three drinking fountains, three fire pits as well as a basketball hoop trying to get the pool, I should have had the choice of purchasing them with WC outright. I intend to be very tight in the future with purchasing WC.

My wishlist is probably a repeat from other threads and also repeat of so many listed here already!
1. Gift back feature!! Would help those of us with a lot of neighbors and even those who don't have a lot of neighbors.
2. Like in Island…it will tell me if a neighbor I am visiting has a hut to finish…would like that option with houses. With people expanding now…it can be hard to find the house they are building. Would be nice if I knew I should go hunting for one to begin with.
3. To reveal what that horseshoe "U" looking fire pit that everyone has!!
4. More secret diary pages or puzzles.
5. Gifting Wine Cash to people.
6. Be able to click on barrels everyday…that sounds easier than coming up with an option that tells us we don't need to click on a barrel.
7. If someone just replanted the ability to fertilize…instead of the fertilize only once a day.
8. Like so many have said…change the avatar and name your Vineyard!
9. comment section…this is the first game I have played that I really want to comment back to people about their decorating ideas!!
10. Coinage for just visiting your neighbor…sometimes some Vineyards have only mushrooms.
And of course the Cheese Shoppe Ideas!!

If you don't hold the players interest they will look for other games. I love this game, please keep my interest :)

Gayle Harrison How about a 'multi-purchase' option on trees and flowers, the same as you have on the dirt paths etc?
Great game, loving it!

Holly Flick I've read almost all of the preceding requests - and I, basically, agree with all of them!! More levels; repeating flowers, fences, & similar as do the walkways & grass; and best of all - please increase the zoom out. I like this game so much it has inspired me to begin writing a short story as I expand & landscape my Vineyard. By the way, any chance of a photo option, instead of having to take screen prints all the time?

Katheryn Gilbride @ Holly
The photo op would be great! Good idea. If someone else posted this idea…sorry…sometimes we remember the last thing we read.
I also love your story idea Holly!! hmmmm…

Cindy Medashefski I agree about the paths and cobblestone accuracy. I really also think the prices on the paths, water and other things go down a bit. 500 coins for one shot at a path? I think way too much, what about 100 or less. I try to place the paths and they always miss where I want them to be and what is up with FB and the lagging on these games, ever since he did the privacy thing, it started going crazy. Add me I need neighbors also, have more then 1 house also.

Jennifer Rube I would like to see a nice church to add to the vineyard as well as stables and a variety of buildings.

Candida Eittreim We need bushes, shrubbery, cobblestone or other coloured paving stones (single). We need a camera function. More plots. The pan out is badly needed. I have very few buildings cluttering up my Vineyard, because I'm carving out more planting areas, some way out there. I agree that the basic water item available should be in coins, not WC, Waterfalls or other upscaled water features you can charge for. Or give a coin/cash option on certain things.
We need herbs guys. They scent the grapes as do roses, though the poppies come close right now in looks. I am bottling balsamic vinegars out of some stock. Love a function for this.

Candida Eittreim On the issue of animals. Cows are the last thing you'd want on lands already stressed by grapevines. I lived in wine country, so I know how grapes deplete the soil. Cows deplete it by adding unnecessary salts through their manure to the soil. It devastated our California Central Valley.
You'll find goats and llamas in Sonoma. Goat cheese is very popular. Even horses, because of their heavy feed needs are somewhat limited on local farms. In the French wine growing regions, particularly on the great estates, you'll find smaller stables and ring placed well away from the vines.
The point here is… I hope you keep this relaxing game as faithful to real vineyards as possible. Meaning no purple sheep or pink cows. Don't sell to anyone. Franchise it out as a game you can also purchase to play offline. I love the thing. Don't cheapen it.

Amerilis Ersery I agree that there are a lot of great ideas here. My wish list is below:
1 - patio tables with umbrella
2 - a way to visit those (who are not my neighbors) who have stopped by and tended my vineyard. Currently, a message pops up upon your first visit back to your vineyard after you're gone a few hours. It mentions that some fertilized your crops and that you should help them, as well. How do we do that if there is no easy way to get to that person's vineyard?
3 - another style of house/building
4 - I like the idea about the cursor changing colors if you are hovering over a house or barrel that you've previously clicked on.
That's all for now. Love the game.

Richard Koppinger Some ideas from me. I love the game so far.
1) Increase number of levels. Please!
2) Increase maximum plots to at least 72 - or better yet 108. Pretty Please!
3) Allow harvested apples to be juiced and barreled for sale as cider or apple wine.
4) On that note, how about including other fruits such as strawberries or blueberries, which could also be used for Country wines?
5) How about a way to step inside houses and cottages? They could be furnished with Marketplace items available for purchase with coin as well as Wine Cash, to generate more revenue for the game.
6) Idea for an additional building - a shop with a tasting room. This could also open the opportunity to build a small bottling facility to "sell" our own bottles. Ahh, it's a bottle of Chateau Richard Cabernet Sauvignon! In a way similar to how we click barrels and buildings for coin and XP, players could "taste" wine in a tasting room for XP, and the shop could generate additional coin. An additional interactive element could include a way to "buy" bottles of wine from other players, where the seller gets coin and XP, and the buyer gets XP.
7) I love the idea of a log book where we could keep track of our blends. I make mead and I always take notes during the process, from creating the must, pitching the yeast, racking, aging and bottling.
8) I realize this may only appeal to home brewers or wine geeks, but different yeast strains yield different results depending on your must and other factors. This could be incorporated into the game in a simple way by allowing players to buy "improved" or "premium" strains that would add a bonus to the barrel the same way that some current items do, such as apple chips or vanilla beans.

Kim Giberson It may be nice to throw in some tall reed grasses to use to fill in the river beds…instead of rocks or flowers…moss covered rocks…that sort of thing…
Great Job so far!

Diane Byles why have the devs suddenly decided to take away the ability to click on building cottage as the roof changed ( usually 3 times)? This is only going to slow everything up - take longer to build - why have something going since starting and then suddenly change it!!!!!

Cathryn Bolen I love this game. I have read all of the above, and generally agree with much that has been said - so I won't repeat it. Here are the things I want to know:
1. Is the score of your wine barrel when you sell it based on: the grapes in the barrel? the additives you're added? the barrel used? how many people have tasted it? how old it is? - Could you give us some parameters here to work with? There are some of us out here who have scientific wine-making minds, and we need to know. There is no hint anywhere - just grow grapes and sell wine.
2. Would you please add the ability to store overage grapes for future use (for us scientific types) so that we can more carefully blend our wines? The crush pad just isn't doing it.
Thank you for your time - and btw: I often wonder if you ever play your own game. :)

Charlene Burke why bother giving suggestions or complaining the developers do not give a flying fig about what we would like or need or what needs to be fix they only care about the game and them selves. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I love all the idea's i have seen here. My one idea is if you give new types of houses to build ,please for the love that is all good stop making 200 clicks to build. It is hard to get 200 people to first play the game with you and next have those people help you. I know from my own build it was a lot of begging and pleading to get them done very aggravating. so fix this would you please.

Sherry Goller I love the game but STILL cannot clear the edges of my vineyard….I have wasted so much money trying. I need to finish my road.I think you have done an awesome job otherwise. You are always coming out with new stuff and ideas. Keep up the good work.

Amerilis Ersery Co-signing what Charlene said about the 200 clicks. Way too many.
And that's the reason why there are so many posts/topics for building help. And we could eliminate all of these posts and get the discussion board back to actually discussing topics, if a comments section was added to each players vineyard page.
Sorry I went off on a little detour. It would just be nice to have a normal discussion board.

Bob Shrubb Given that people keep track of what wine they make, I would like to see another menu icon so it brings up a sort of ledger..in it, would be the date the wine was casked, what type of barrel, the grape or grapes used with or without boosts, the score wine poseur magazine gave it, the number of tasters, initial value and final value..and the ability to choose a particular entry which would open up and give you the option to print said entry..

Patty Waymire I just recently discovered this little gem of a game and have been having quite a bit of fun designing my own virtual vineyard and town.
It occurred to me today, as I was going through everyone else's vineyards, wine tasting, truffle hunting, and helping with building, that these little towns are very empty.
Are there any plans to add people? Possibly a tab in the marketplace dedicated to buying a variety of different people, ie: couples, singles, children, a mom pushing a baby stroller, vineyard workers, a child flying a kite….I can think of a million possibilities.
Our little towns, although very impressive in most cases, do all resemble ghost towns.
I would love to "populate" my town, and add some more character to it.
